Bible studies, sermons, daily devotionals, Christian music, Christian video and audio even Christian software and much more is available today both online and offline.

Take for example all the Christian resources available at online ministries like Dr. Charles Stanley's "In Touch" ministry, or how about the great audio series that tells the "Story of Jesus". Then there's all the great Christian video available at GodTube, a video-driven social network where users can explore their faith and the tenets of Christianity.

Beyond this there's many more ways that technology is making it easier to study Gods word and get it in the hands of thounsands who otherwise wouldn't have access to it.

Take for example In Touch ministries, "In Touch Messenger project". Thanks to the generous support of there partners, 50,000 of these portable, water-resistant, solar-powered audio players are in the hands of U.S. troops. And 30,000 more are on the way.

Find out more about this outreach ministry and how you can help by visiting the In Touch Messenger project. The Lord has called us to be His witnesses "even to the remotest part of the earth" (Acts 1:8). While you may not be able to go yourself, you can stand with In Touch and be God's messenger.

A Nation in Need of Prayer

There is no time like the present to lift up our nation to the Lord. Regardless of what caused our national condition, Christian citizens should care enough about their country to cry out to God on its behalf.

2 Chronicles 7:14 [If] My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

This message is critical not only to each of us as individuals but it's critical to our nation as a whole.

Earlier we talked breifly about GodTube, the Christians answer to YouTube but another more widely available resource for the Christian is that of audio.

The MP3 and MP4 compression technology has opened up a whole new world of portability when it comes to audio. Did you know for instance that you can purchase a GoBible that's small enough to easily fit into your shirt pocket yet capable of storing and playing back both the old and new testament of the Bible.

Today many Christian authors are releasing their newest works in audio book format concurrent with the release of their new print books. This gives us another way to enjoy the auhors work and in todays fast paced world the commute to an from work is the only time we may have.

Downloadable christian audio books are an easy way to purchase and use them and there are many resources available to help you learn how to purchase, download and transfer the audio file to your iPod or other MP3 player.

Once you're comfortable with the process you can go to the Christianity section of this audio book store and choose from nearly 200 Christian audio books.

The next area I'd like to explode is that of software programs specifically designed to in some way enhance the Christian experience. Many software programers have developed some really good Christian software programs in the last few years. Many of these programs are free to use.

For example e-Sword, a fast and effective way to study the Bible. e-Sword is feature rich and user friendly with more capabilities than you would expect in a free software package. The fact that e-Sword is free is just one of the blessings and does not speak of the quality of the software.
